Sonnet XVII: Celestial Broth

Continuation of Sonnet XVI. Orbital gravity as a metaphor for unrequited love.

To be concealed within your stellar mind
Is to hang dizzy from your spinning charm
From which spun complex webs nourish and farm
Old memories of yours I wish to find

To be imprisoned behind metal doors
Is my fire to die by harsh domain
My shadow there shall no longer remain
Both swept away by your storms' dreadful force

To be released and exiled from this cell
Is to be flung into the edge of space
Then midway be caught by orbital lace
And once again be entranced by your spell

Watch! For now I am your lunar guardian
Held close yet held apart by attraction
